Diablo Immortal is taking the gaming community by storm. Being the only free-to-play game in the series, many new players are introduced to the world of Seraphs of High Heavens, and Hellspawns of Netherworld, and have trouble pausing the game. So if you are new to the series and wondering the same then here’s our guide on Can you Pause in Diablo Immortal & if so then how to do it.
How to Pause Diablo Immortal
Yes but currently the only way to pause Diablo Immortal is by force closing the game and restarting it directly to start from where you left off (even during the fight). But we believe this freezing server connection method will be fixed by devs in a future patch. Meanwhile, make use of this feature to pause your game and resume easily. Apart from this, there are no official options to pause the game just like many other modern online-based games. You cannot use the settings menu to pause the. This is due to the online elements the game is based around.
It would have been really nice to have the pause option in single-player at least. Many new-age games like Elden Ring and many more are moving away from this. So we don’t think Blizzard will add a ‘pause button’ to the game. Meanwhile, if you want to take a break, your only option is to complete the session you are playing. You can also use a waypoint (like in other Diablo games) to travel back to town or a safe zone. So as no pause option is available, our only way is to force close and freeze the server connection.
That’s all about can you Pause in Diablo Immortal & if so then how to do it. While you are here, make sure to check out our Diablo Immortal guides on Gamer Tweak for more information related to the game.
