Here’s how to play Fortnite on your Chromebook with high graphics:
- Log into the official “GeForce Now“ webpage
- If you do have an account, then click on “Join Today”
- Now click “Play Now” and choose “free membership”
- Use Google sign in or make a new account
- Search for “Fortnite”
- Click on the title, then press “Play”
- Use your Epic account to link your progress
- Now Fortnite will always show in your game collection
- Now GeForce Now has upgraded to all RTX cards
- So you can play in ultra-high graphics
Chrome Remote Desktop Stream (Mid Graphics)
For this, you will need a windows PC with Fortnite on it. If you have one, you may skip to the next method. If you have one at home, then here’s how to stream and play Fortnite on Chromebook from PC:
- Install CRD extension on Chromebook
- CRD (Chrome Remote Desktop) plugin is completely free
- Download Fortnite on your Windows PC
- Login to same Google account on chrome on PC & Chromebook
- On Chromebook, go to “Apps”
- You can also type in “chrome://apps” in your Chromebook’s chrome browser
- Click on “My Computers”, then “Get started”, and then “Enable remote connections”
- Follow and finish the steps shown on the screen
- You have to create a security pin to connect with your PC in future
- Now again click on “Apps”
- Click on “CRD”
- Go to “My Computers”
- Click on “Connect”
- Now you can open Fortnite on PC via Chrome Remote Desktop
- Start the game and enjoy playing it
- The graphics will depend on the specs of your PC & wifi speed
Install Fortnite APK On Chromebook (Low Graphics)
Here’s how to download & install Fortnite APK on Chromebook:
- Start your Chromebook
- Click on the time displayed on the bottom right of the desktop
- A new menu will pop up
- Click on the “gear” icon
- This is your Chromebook settings
- From the left side tab, click on “Apps”
- Now enable the “Install apps and games from Google Play on your Chromebook” option
- Click on “More” in the next windows
- Continue with on-screen prompts with “I Agree”
- Click on “App Settings”
- Now go to “Security”
- Enable “Unknown sources”
- If you don’t see this open then you have to enable “developer mode”
- To do this, turn off Chromebook
- Hold ESC+F3 while you press on the power button
- Now you will see the “recovery screen”
- Now press Ctrl+D to enable developer mode
- Once done, open the Google Play Store app
- Download any file manager app with good ratings
- Open Chrome browser
- Go to the official Fortnite Android page
- Click on “Download”
- Once done, open the file manager you just installed
- Click on the Fortnite APK here
- Click on “Install”

- As Chromebooks have low specs, your game will run accordingly on your device
