What happens when you delete Google account from Android device
But before you begin, there are things you need to know what exactly happens when you delete the Google account from your Android device.

You will even lose access to the app you’ve purchased from the Google Play Store. So, make sure you back up all the important information.

If you are trying to remove the primary Google account – the one that you used when you used the device for the first time; it will be helpful if you set up a new Google account first before removing the first one.

Method 2: Manually
- Open the file browsing app of your choice on your android.
- Open data/ system folder and delete “accounts.db”.

Use File expert app with root access and remount SYNC folder with “write” permission, then you will be allowed to delete the file.

Usually, what will work is disabling and then re-enabling all of the Google services. However, this time Google Play Services was greyed out and wouldn’t disable. I noticed that if you remove the Google account before setting up Airwatch (or from what I’ve read before setting a device PIN) it lets you remove it.

Do factory reset…everything will work fine except you lose your contacts and existing software. No other option i found.
