Like plenty RPG’s The Outer World too has a skill point system, wherein players can invest points in a particular skill to make it better, but oftentimes people do make mistakes and wish to revert. This guide will show you how to respec your character in the Outer Worlds.
How to Respec Character in Outer Worlds
Often a certain style gets boring or too monotonous and players wish to change the entire skill points for their character. This makes it possible for a character to go from a melee-based character to something different that you fancy.
The Outer Worlds allows players to respec their characters in-game so that they can explore different play styles and learn more about the game. To be able to respec your character in the Outer Worlds you will have to unlock access to the Vocational Competence Respecification Machine.
To do so, you will have to go to your ship The Unreliable, but first, you will have to complete the tutorials missions, this should be pretty easy and soon you will find yourself at the Unreliable again.
As you enter the Unreliable, take a left and get inside the room, go straight and up the yellow ladder. When you get up and follow the catwalk towards the left and you will find yourself at the Vocational Competence Respecification Machine.
You will then have to interact with it, and before you start playing with you should know that there is a price of 500 Bits so be sure that you have the Bits to spare.
Every time you respec your character, the price will go up and that is all there is to know about how to respec your character in The Outer Worlds.
