The simplest way to include a link in an email message is to copy and paste it. You can then copy the link from the message and paste it into the browser. However, if you’d rather include a hyperlink that takes the user directly to the page by clicking on the text, follow these steps:

  • Highlight the text of the link you want to share and press Ctrl+C (for Windows) or Command+C (for Mac) to copy it.
  • Highlight the text you want to link in your Yahoo Mail message, and then select the link icon in the bottom toolbar (to the left of the text formatting options).
  • Press Ctrl+V (for Windows) or Command+V (for Mac) to paste the link in the text field.
  • Click Test to open the link and ensure that it works and goes to the page you want to share.
  • Select Save.
  • Send the email as usual. When the recipient sees the message, they can click the blue text to open the web page in a new tab.

Alternatively, you can paste an entire link (including http:// or https://) directly into a Yahoo Mail message. Depending on how the web page is set up, the pasted text is hyperlinked automatically, or a link preview is generated with an image.
