Most fitness trackers include an alarm feature, which you can set to wake you up or remind you to do something at a certain time. The Fitbit is no different.
How the Fitbit Alarm Works
Conventional alarm clocks are great, but your Fitbit provides a more personal touch. When the alarm is triggered, the Fitbit gently vibrates on your wrist and lights up, easing you awake. Unlike a regular alarm clock, you don’t have to worry about it waking up people sleeping nearby. And don’t worry if you miss it, the Fitbit automatically snoozes itself after a brief time, and then re-activates after 9 minutes.
While not all Fitbit trackers track your sleep, almost all offer an alarm, except for the Fitbit Zip.
It’s possible to set up to eight different alarms to occur once or on multiple days of the week, so you can set up daily or weekly routines.
The alarm on most Fitbit devices automatically turns off once you walk 50 steps. You can also press a button to dismiss it, or double-tap the tracker.
