But what if I tell you can do the same on Android using chrome? It’s pretty simple and requires some steps to set up. Here’s how to shift tabs between Android and PC using chrome.
Shift tabs between Android and PC
First thing first, you’ll need to log into Chrome on both your PC and Android. Follow the steps below;
Login on PC
Step 1: Open Chrome browser.
Step 2: Click on the user icon located in the right-hand corner just beside the minimize button.
Step 3: Click on Sign in to Chrome.
Step 4: Enter your credentials.
Step 5: Google will let you know that you are turning Chrome Sync on. Click on OK go it and you’re done.
Login on Android
Step 2: Tap on the 3-dot menu.
Step 3: Tap on Settings.
Step 4: You’ll find the account you’ve used for the device. Tap on Continue.
Step 5: It will let you know that you are turning Chrome Sync on. Tap on OK go it and you’re done.
And this is it. This fairly simple feature lets you freely shift between Android and PC while you’re browsing the Internet.
To shift tabs from PC to Android:
- Open Recent tabs on Android.
- You’ll see the recently opened tabs on both your phone and PC.
To shift tabs from Android to PC:
- Go to History.
- Click on Recently Visited.
- You’ll see the recently opened tabs on both your phone.
If you want to You can disable this feature anytime from Setting > Sync and turning the feature off. You can also select what you want to sync. You can either sync everything or chose between Apps, Autofill, Bookmarks, Extensions, History, Passwords, Settings, Themes and Wallpapers, Open Tabs and Creditcard and addresses using Google Pay.
